Description
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the U.S. Coast Guard?s intent to award a sole source contract to the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302. This proposed contract action is for magazine subscriptions including distribution to the magazine entitled ?THE NAVIGATOR? for the next five years, which includes a base year and four option years, beginning on October 1, 2005. ?THE NAVIGATOR? is a magazine that is published solely for the use of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The magazine provides technical information, training topics, and Coast Guard policies and procedures concerning the various missions performed by the Auxiliary for the Coast Guard. The magazine subscription provides for quarterly distribution with 38,500 copies per issue. This is a follow-on effort to Contract Number DTCG23-01-C-DNX001 with the Coast Guard Auxiliary Association, Inc. See Note 22. All correspondence should be sent to the address listed above.
