- NOAA has a requirement for a contractor to provide driven piles and installed pile caps that will form the foundation for the construction of a 400 square foot pier extension and provide stability points for the existing float building. This extension is needed to provide a future landing for the seawater delivery umbilical system and as a replacement for the existing ramp landing that is badly in need of repair. An option is provided for installation of stringers and decking and moving the existing ramp which would complete the work. A request for proposal (RFP) solicitation will be available on or about 15 Jun 05 through FedBizOps. The approx closing date may be 30 days after issuance of the RFP. Interested parties should use the FedBizOps REGISTER TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATION and REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR feature which provides notification when the RFP becomes available for download and all postings associated with the solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written request will be accepted. It is the incumbent upon interested parties to register at the solicitation’s site for notification and to review the site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Technical questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to Tracy.L.Mandell@noaa.gov. All responsible responsive sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. The Western Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this acquisition office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR. for additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http:///www.ccr.gov/ . In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
