Description

This is a notice of intent to award a Sole Source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Course Six Consulting, LLC, 955 Massachusetts Avenue Suite 455, Cambridge, MA 02139. The scope of work includes the following: The Contractor shall provide the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations (OCIE) with technical services to develop a data capture software tool that extracts registrant trade data from input files and transforms, stores and exports the data into existing analytic tools in a form suitable for subsequent SEC analysis. The Contractor shall integrate the tool into the SEC information technology (IT) infrastructure. The Contractor shall install the tool and train users and administrators. The Contractor shall provide maintenance (upgrades, bug fixes) and support services for the tool. The statement of work will be uploaded separately. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this service. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested contractors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by e-mail to Louis Gilden no later than 5:00PM EST on August 10, 2005, contact information is as follows: GildenL@sec.gov. Capabilities / qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
