Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a Stewardship Contracting north of Susanville, California. The purpose of this contract is to provide services for fuels reduction and a fire safe healthy forest with a component of large trees and a reduced threat of crown fire by way of ladder fuels. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. Note: All merchantable material to be removed will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer value. The period of performance is negotiable and it is a multi-year contract. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310. A pre-proposal site tour has been scheduled for for Aug. 12, 2005 at 9:00 AM. Participants meet at: Intersection of State Highway 139 and Termo Grasshopper Road, Lassen County CA. Offerors intending to attend the site visit tour should contact contact Don Dockery ((530) 257-0456) at least 48 hours before the scheduled site visit and advise him of the firms name.
