- This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). All information received will be for planning purposes only. The CECOM Acquisition Center does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses nor otherw ise pay for the preparation of any information presented or the use of any such information. All proprietary information should be marked as such. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit comments on a draft set of Service Specifications for the Army Intelligence Community, and more specifically, for the Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A). In order to obtain a copy of the draft specificati on documents please contact Mr. Ron Schaefer, ron.schaefer@us.army.mil, 732.427.5174 PM DCGS-A, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703. The draft specifications are intended to facilitate intelligence information exchange among application / data providers and consumers within the DCGS-A 'System of Systems' enterprise at all operational levels. The draft and potential final specifications are the intellectual property of the Government. The specifications should be considered as draft specifications and are NOT yet intended for fielding at any level at the time of their release. Comments and sugg ested modifications to these draft specifications are welcome, but all materialized modifications will remain Government owned. Your feedback is important in driving the evolutionary path of the specifications and making them more robust, more precise, and more comprehensive. Comments, including questions for clarifications, are welcome and should at the minimum contain the followi ng information: -The submitter's name, organization, and contact information -Date of the submission; -The name(s) of the specification(s) of interest, if applicable -The intelligence discipline(s) of interest, if applicable -Detailed operational requirement items that are related, such as those from the ORD or CDD, if applicable -The POR system(s) of interest, if applicable -The particular echelon (e.g., UA, UEx, UEy) of concern, if applicable -Detailed comments or questions -Supporting documentation, if necessary The comments are to be submitted, preferably in electronic form, to: Mr. Ron Schaefer ron.schaefer@us.army.mil 732.427.5174 PM DCGS-A, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703
