Description

The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and materials to Overhaul the Nitrogen Inerting Unit. The Input/Output NSN: 1560-01-165-9449,Input/Output P/N: 3261029-0101. The proposed contractual action will be a five-year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity is 58 each, maximum quantity 644 each. The maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturers blueprints/production drawings and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The approved sources are Boeing, formerly McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co ( Cage 8V613) and Carleton Life Support Systems Inc (Cage 99251). Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for this or future solicitations by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocates Shopping List (CASL ) procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following web site: http://www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. There will be no telephone or e-mail requests for proposals accepted. Request will be by data fax to (256) 313-8194 or mailed only to, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-M, Chris Webb, Contract Specialist. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitati on; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. See Note 22.
