- The Munitions Systems and Technology Directorate (MSTD) at RDECOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is in continuous development of advanced munitions systems, including: tank and vehicle fired artillery, mortar, small and medium caliber, rockets, area denial demolition and vehicle protection systems. MSTD provides advanced engineering development, testing, evaluation and qualification of munitions systems. In addition, MSTD provides production support and manufacturing engineering for the munitions life cycle. This Task Order Contract will provide MSTD with the required ???contract vehicle??? necessary to permit RDECOM-ARDEC to ???flexibly partner??? with industry on various tasks related to the engineering, development, testing, evaluation, producibility assessment and manufacture of various munitions systems. This flexible partnership will result in: enhanced lethality and accuracy for legacy and future munitions systems, improved production/manufacturing capabilities, and better munitions life cycle management. The Government plan is to select and award Task Order Contracts to one or more qualified contractors. The specific tasks placed under this contract will be determined based on the availability of funds, Government program needs and scheduling. The contractor shall provide all facilities, equipment, labor, materials (except equipment and materials the Government may elect to furnish) and incidental services necessary to carry out the requirements of the selected tasks. The minimum requirements for selection to be met by the Contractor(s) will be based on the suitability of contractor in-house facilities and demonstrated in-house experience and technical capabilities. Note #26 applies.
