Description

On behalf of the U.S. Department of the Army, Real Estate and Facilities Department and the Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W). This proposed contract is being considered as a 100 percent set-aside for Small Business as defined Part 19 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement. Interested Small Businesses should provide the contracting office as early as possible, but not later than 5 days after the Request for Proposal (RFP) is posted, evidence of their capability to perform the co ntract, and a positive statement of their eligibility as a Small Business. If adequate response is not received from Small Businesses, the solicitation will instead be issued, as a Full and Open Competition . Therefore, replies to this notice are also requ ested from _________________N/A____________________________ (enter the types of firms to be solicited in the event a Small Business Set-aside is not made). The Statement of Work (SOW) sets forth the requirement for moving services to support the U.S. Department of the Army, Real Estate and Facilities Department. The successful contractor will furnish transportation, labor and related moving services as speci fied in the Statement of Work. DCC-W expects to have a Request for Proposals (RFP) available at the following web site: http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp.
