- The 48th Contracting Squadron, RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom intends to award, on a sole source basis, a Purchase Order to Adaptive Eyecare Limited, United Kingdom. The procurement is for infinitely prescriptable eyeglasses, which are capable of changing the refraction of the lens from +6 to -6 power, and correct for both distance and near sighted deficiencies. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1. Firms who believe they can provide the requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future, and will not be considered for this award.
