Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for water cooled dual compressor magnetic bearing centrifugal water chillers, right hand and left hand. Manufacture is McQuay International. Substitutes are not acceptable. This is a brand name acquisition. The chillers will be delivered and installed at Patrick AFB, FL. The expected delivery date is 30 days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0303 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5074, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423720. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 8 August 2005 at www.eps.gov . Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail.
