- This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 423430 and the Size Standard 500 employees. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued from Purchase Request F2B3BP5208A100. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04 effective 8 June 2005. The Government intends to award one Contract Line Item Number (CLIN 0001) for Firewall. Parts List: Sidewinder 5.2 Appliance, UL User, Plus VPN, Part Number SW52-AP-2150-8 (quanity 1) Secure Support Premium Direct, Sidewinder G2 Appliance, Model Number 2150/ULN, 12 Months, Part Number SWTS-SPRD-2150-12 (quanity 1) FOB and Inspection/Acceptance is Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR): FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offererors-Commercial Items; in accordance with (IAW) the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price; IAW FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal; Note: DFARS 252.225-7000 applies (Buy American Act with exceptions), and FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incororated by Reference.
