- Notice of Intent to award Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for an Audioscan Verifit Clinical Real-Ear Hearing Aid Analyzer to Medical Technologies, 412 Gateway Boulevard, Burnsville, MN 55337. The acquisition of the Verifit Hearing Aid Analyzer is necessary for the 55th Medical Group to satisfy mission requirements. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because market research indicated that Medical Technologies is the only authorized distributor of the Verifit System. The procurement of the Verifit Hearing Aid Analyzer must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements.
