- The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Rice University, located in Houston Texas to design and develop a prototype manipulator to be used with the existing MIME System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must provide written evidence in sufficient detail to the Contracting Officer (004BPC), CTVHCS, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, TX 76504, by 8/17/05. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, CTVHCS will proceed with the sole source procurement. (NAICS:541710)
