- Seeking a fellowship trained cardiac electrophysiologist who is experienced in the placement of internal cardioverter-defibrillators and biventricular pacemakers. The physician is expected to implant the device and document the procedure in CPRS with a procedure note and encounter information and place all necessary orders. Physician will also write appropriate physician orders to direct the immediate post procedure care. Physician is also expected to provide all appropriate assistance or advice requested of the coding and billing staff. Physician is expected to follow all local and national VHA policies and procedures. All procedures will be performed at the Northport VAMC, contractor must be within 10 mile radius from the VA Medical Northport Campus, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768.
