- The United States Department of Labor has a requirement (Solicitation No.DOL059RQ20089) in support of the Office of Administrative Law Judges (ALJ). ALJ is seeking contract writers for the Black Lung Program. During the performance of this contract, the contractor is required to write draft proposed decisions and orders or recommendations in the form of a decision addressing all factual and legal issues involved in cases before Administrative Law Judges of the ALJ including those remanded from the Benefits Review Board or a Federal court. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance of the proposed contract is anticipated to encompass one base year plus four additional option years. This procurement has been determined to be 100% Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 921190.
