Description
This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMS), Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a contractor to research, develop and document a detailed logical description of regional salmonid data collection and management systems, data management resources, and data terminology to support improvement s to data quality, data sharing and discovery in Pacific Northwest. The intended acquisition is for services for which the government intends to acquire from one source under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. The government has identified Columbia Basin Fish and Wildlife Foundation as the only source who can complete work under proposed contract. The Columbia Basin Fish and Wildlife Foundation has a unique regional role in the Pacific Northwest, it represents all recognized federal, state and tribal interests in coordinating and promoting effective protection and restoration of fish, wildlife and their habitat in the Columbia River Basin. This not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The government reserves the right to solicit offers based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice, or issue a contract to Columbia River Basin and Wildlife Foundation and Fishery Sciences without further notice. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to (206) 526-6025 attention to Maria Mendoza. ****The Western Regional Acquisition Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of October 1, 2003. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
