Description

The project consists of filling an estimated 11,350 lineal feet of internal ditch using 60,930 cubic yards of onsite organic soil borrow material, abandoning 17 tile lines requiring removal of 2,550 lineal feet of tile, the completion of 2,200 lineal feet of trenching intending to further destroy the tile drainage system, and construction of a sheet pile outlet structure approximately 150? wide driven through 12? of organic soils into 3? of sand. The estimated performance time for the contract is 120 working days. Estimated price range is between $250,000 - $500,000. Bid packets will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov on August 18, 2005. There is a site showing scheduled for September 8, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Wisconsin DNR parking lot. (From the village of Neshkoro, take Cty Hwy E east for 1 1/2 miles to Silver Springs Drive; 3/4 mile south to the parking lot. T17N R11E, SEC 3, Town of Neshkoro, Marquette County Wisconsin). Depending on site conditions, ATVs may be required to tour the site. Please plan accordingly. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
