Description: NRCS is seeking bids for award of a fixed-price construction contract for repairs to an auxillary spillway at Stuart Lake, Louisiana (located near the town of Pollack, in the USFS Catahoula Ranger District, Grant Parish, Louisiana). Work consists of clearing, grading and shaping, and installing a rock riprap armored chute at the outlet end of the existing auxiliary spillway. Major items of work include approximately 1,211 CY of excavation; 1,276 CY of earthfill; 1,100 tons of rock riprap; and 950 SY of nonwoven geotextile. Performance period is 95 calendar days. The IFB (solicitation package) will be issued approximately 15 days from the date of this notice. Price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All responsible offers are invited to submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
