Description

AMENDMENT TO Solicitation No. RFQ 05-106 - Telephone System Upgrade (Nortel Meridian 1 System) This is to amend Solicitation No. RFQ 05-106 - Telephone System Upgrade (Nortel Meridian 1 System)posted as a combined synopsis/solicitation on AUG 01, 2005 as follows: (1) First Paragraph, fifth sentence: Correct typo relative to the FAR reference from FAR 19.5022-2(a) to FAR 19.502-2(a); (2) EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD: DELETE this section in its entirety. SUBSTITUTE: The Government intends to evaluate quotations and make an award without discussions with quoters Therefore, the quoter's quote should reflect the quoters best terms from a price and other related factors standpoint; and (3) BASIS OF AWARD: DELETE the following sentences: "...Award will be made to the responsible quoter who satisfies all requirements and whose quote is determined to offer the best value and is most advantageous to the Government. The award shall be based on best value to the Government." The best value approach is not applicable to this solicitation. SUBSTITUTE: …Award will be made to the responsible quoter who satisfies all requirements and whose quote is determined to be most advantageous to the Government. The award shall be based on price and other related factors, i.e.; past performance. RESPONSE DATE: The response date remains at August 10, 2005, at 2:00 p.m.(Washington, DC local time).
