Description

The work performed under this project is to Provide Screen Walls, Fences, Bollards, and Enclosures under a Requirements Type Contract. The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, parts materials, facilities and transportation necessary to Provide Screen Walls, Fences, Bollards, and Enclosures, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. This acquisition will be a 100% Competitive 8(a) Set-aside with no geographical restrictions, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. The anticipated period of performance is 01 Jun 05 through 30 Nov 06, which consists of One (1) Basic Period of One (1) Year, and One Option Period of Six (6) Months, not to exceed a total of twenty-four months. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO POTENTIAL CONTRACTORS: Keesler AFB, MS is in the midst of an A-76 Study for a Base Operating Support Contract. If the A-76 Study remains on schedule, the Option may not be exercised. Interested responsible sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990. The size standard is $12.0 Million (FAR 19.102). Magnitude of proposed construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This will be a Requirements Type Contract for which the Government does not guarantee any minimum amount of work after award. The Solicitation Package, Specifications, and Drawings (if applicable), will tentatively be posted on the FedBizOpps Website: http://www.eps.gov on/or around 29 Mar 05 with a tentative closing date of 28 Apr 05. All Contractors wishing to do business with the Government are required to register in the DOD Central Contractor Registry (CCR) Database prior to any subsequent award. CCR Registration may be accomplished online at http://www.ccr.gov. Additional information on CCR Registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423. Contractors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
