- The Southeast Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal Service, is adverting for proposals for the MID-FLORIDA, FL ? IMPC & VMF, Solicitation No.: 123125-05-A-0521, Location of Facilities: 800 Reinhart Road. Construction Features: Roof replacement. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing roofing system, replace with three ply modified bitumen SBS roofing system, containing approximately 322,050 square feet of the main building and approximately 22,450 square feet for the VMF, including base flashings and metal flashings as detailed Cost range: $3,753,000 - $4,378,500 Construction. Time: 360 calendar days A PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE WILL BE AUGUST 16, 2005 AT 1:00 PM AT THE FACILITY. Notice to Proceed will be given within 14 days of award. Work must start no later than 10 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. No information about the proposals can be released until award is made at which time all offerors will be notified in writing. Award may be made with or without discussions. The names of unsuccessful offers and their proposal WILL NOT BE RELEASED AS PUBLIC INFORMATION. This information is exempt from disclosure under Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Exemption 4. Only offers returned via personal hand delivery and/or US Postal Service (First Class Mail, Express Mail and Priority Mail) will be considered in compliance with this solicitation. Any other carriers will be rejected. MODIFICATIONS TO PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY FAX TO 678/442-6079. No Proposal Guarantee (Bid Bond) is required but a letter from your bonding company and bank ARE required (see Offerors Submittal Information). A 100% Performance Bond and a 50% Payment Bond will be required of the successful offeror.
