- Description
- The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to award on a sole-source basis a modification to Contract No. HM1582-05-C-0012 for Phase II and Phase III of the Multi-Int Fused Imagery Initiative (MIFI). This effort will involve the continuation of the MIFI foundation capability. This capability will allow for the integration, storing and retrieval of annotated data and information, allowing users access to data, and ability value add to existent information. This will be accomplished by utilizing improved markup languages (ex. XML, RDF) and open source web standards (OGC WMS, WFS, SVG, and XIMA) and rapidly developing web technologies to provide data to customers in near real time. Rapid project prototyping and development cycle with integration into existing Intelligence Community and DoD data sources will be followed by engagement in a demonstration environment. Goal is real time sharing, collaboration, and easier access to information for DoD and IC members. This effort will require working in a sensitive, compartmented environment.
