Description
ANY REQUESTS MUST BE WITH YOUR COMPANY NAME, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE AND FAX NUMBER, PLEASE NO EMAILS, WILL NOT ACCEPT AND UNABLE TO PROVIDE BID PACKAGE THROUGH EMAIL. NO SUBSTITUTIONS SHALL BE ACCEPTABLE. The Alumni Hall located at the U S Naval Academy has a requirement for a Divider Curtain, complete installation according the Scope of Work. 1. Furnish and install James Thomas Engineering GP 18 inch heavy duty Triangular trusses to support new divider curtain and storage sock. Trussing shall be composed of center point load capacity, 2600 pounds per 10 foot section. Furnish and install trussing lifting points, chain hoists, and support cables to existing structure to support the left, center, and right trusses. Trussing and motors shall be installed as to not interfere with easting rigging systems. Furnish and install required electrical systems and wiring for motor power and control. Each truss shall be provided with its own pendant remote control. Wiring from the panel is 200 AMP, 208/230 Volt, 3 phase Hurst. Furnish and install 25 ounce Synthetic Velour Navy Blue Curtains sufficient to cover the arena from drop ceiling to drop ceiling running perpendicular to the basketball court. Curtains shall overlap 5 foot at the gap between trusses to mask sightlines. Curtains shall be provided in the required color and shall contain 4 inch box pleats, 12 inch OC with 50% additional fullness. Curtains shall be provided with a storage sock sewn to the back of the bottom of the curtain. Storage shall be as follows: Prior to lowering the truss, sock shall be pulled out onto the floor equidistant from the bottom of the curtain. Curtain shall be lowered in onto the sock, and stack on top of it. Sock shall be attached on both sides to the truss once the truss has been lowered. Truss shall be raised with curtain inside, for safe storage overhead. No ground level storage shall be required for this; the velour should never touch the ground. This quote shall include all necessary tools, scaffold, and hoisting equipment to complete this requirement. Installation shall be between 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, if an event has been scheduled, the Department Head can arrange for additional time.
