Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville (FISCJ) intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price type contract for foam mattresses and bachelor housing furniture in accordance with FAR part 12, in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, FL. The period of performance (delivery and installation) shall be no later than 90 days ARO. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 337910 NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 8 August 2005. Potential offerors are herby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Furniture must exactly match existing furniture at NSA Panama City Visitors Quarters. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for August 15, 2005 at 9:30 at Place of Contract Perfomance. Failure to attend site-visit will render quote unacceptable. Contact information for site visit will be provided in the solicitation. The Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist reserve the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submission of proposal/quote, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
