- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to purchase on a sole source basis the following Custom Microwave, Inc. Special Support Equipment RF Adapters: CX887-594 (Qty. 24); CX887-590 (Qty. 16); CX887-589 (Qty. 16); CX-887-591 (Qty. 8); CX887-592 (Qty.8); and CX887-1009, WRD180 TO WR28 (Qty.3). It is expected to place a sole source contract with Custom Microwave Inc., Longmont, CO. These RF Adapters have multiple RF components that are critical to the RF paths that are tested. Custom Microwave has manufactured these special-order, built-to-specification components. No other known source has been able to supply all of the components. A formal Solicitation N66604-05-Q-5420 will be posted on our website on approximately 8/18/05. A completed copy of Offerors Representations and Certifications?must be submitted with quote. Offers should include price and delivery terms. Offers must be submitted to Commercial Acquisition Department, Bldg. 11, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Code 591, Simonpietri Drive, Newport, RI 02841-1708 or may be faxed to 401-832-4820.
