- THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED VIA THE INTERNET. This will be the only method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR AMENDMENTS. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Debbie Dills via facsimile at 812-854-3800 or e-mail at debbie.dills@navy.mil. Provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation and supervision to demo existing metal door awnings at front & kitchen doors of listed residential quarters & construct new canopies and enclose underneath side & trim and flash to the vinyl siding & install supports similar to those at quarters "I" and "BB" complete and ready to use. Work is located at the Naval Support Activity, Crane, Indiana The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: past performance and performance narrative and other factors as may be specified in the solicitation documents. These technical factors when combined are equal in value to the price. This solicitation is available only electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 236118 with a small business size standard of $28.5 million. This solicitation is unrestricted. The release date is Tuesday, August 2, 2005 with proposals due at 4:00 p.m. (local time) on Friday, August 12, 2005. A site visit is A Site Visit has been scheduled for 09:00 AM on Tuesday, August 9, 2005. Participants shall meet at building 2516, NSA Crane, Indiana. Participants who would like to visit the job site are asked to attend at this time. Access to the job site at other times prior to the proposal due date is not GUARANTEED.
