- Thisis a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercila items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented this notice. The Solicitation is being issued as 05SQ259953 and proposals are due by Wednesday, August 17, 2005, 4:30 p.m. local time. This is being issued as a Small Business Set-aside, the NAICS code is 33298 the small business size standard is 500 employees. the Government anticipates award of a frim-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about August 22,2005, that is most advantageous to the Government. The Bureau of Reclamation, Klamath Basin Area Office, Klamath Falls, Oregon has a need for a Fork lift meeting the following specifications delivered FOB to the Klamath Basin Area Office, 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, Oregon: 8,000 pounds at 24 inch load center. Diesel engine, single-speed, full-reversing powershift. In-radiator oil cooler, spin-on full-flow oil filter. Standard instrumentation: LCD hour meter, Engine Temperature gauge, Engine oil pressure, charge circuit, transmission temperature, low brake fluid, low coolant, fasten seat belt indicator lights, Diesel fuel gauge, GM engine service indicator light, Diesel water separator and cold-start indicator lights, gauges that are backlit. EXHAUST: Rear through counterweight so hands can be free, must have direction control, speed and direction control by foot pedal, over head guard: The Mast 2-stage LFL. 145.7" 91.3" OAH (H100-120XM), VISTA MAST; 2 STAGE LFL, 145.7" top-of-fork, 977.3" lowered, 5.9" free-lift. CARRIAGE: 60" wide ITA Class III hook-type for 2-stage LFL VISTA masts. SIDE THRUST BEARING GROUP: Extra side roller support carriage. FORKS:48" pallet Class III hook-type, 2"x5" heel section. MAST TILT: 6 degree forward, 12 degree back. HOSE GROUP: 4-function, internal reeving for 2-stage LFL. HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVE: 4 function with detented (push away) 4th funtion for clamping functions DUAL DRIVE WHEELS: 69.3 OAW. DUAL DRIVE TIRES: 7.00 X 15 12PR pneumatic. STEER TIRES 7.00X 12PR pneumatic. LIGHTS: 2 Drive, 1 Rear Drive, 2 LED Brake/Tail w/backup. Amber strobe: Continuous Operation, to include hydraulic attachement, heavy duty side shifting fork positioner withopening range from 1.8:" to 57.5" includes 48" high load backrest installed.
