Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.603 and supplemented with information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested. This requirement, number FA4427-05-Q-0042, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05 and Defense DCN 20050726. This solicitation/acquisition will be unrestricted. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6525. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5047. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423450. The associated small business size standard is 500 employees. This RFQ consists of the following items. Item 0001: One each General Electric Medical Systems AMX-4+ (plus) mobile X-ray unit with two each operational / service manuals. Items shall be delivered to FOB point Travis AFB, CA (zip code 94535) no later than 60 days after receipt of order. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, with the following filled-in: price only.
