Description
The purpose of this modification is to correct the Best Estimated Quantity as follows: YEAR ONE 13, YEAR TWO 17, YEAR THREE 19, YEAR FOUR 16, YEAR FIVE 14. The Min/Max Quantity per Year is as follows: Minimum Quantity per Year is 1 and the Maximum Quantity per year is 40. AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY CONTRACT IS CONTEMPLATED; A ONE YEAR BASIC PLUS FOUR ONE-YEAR OPTIONS FOR REPAIR/OVERHAUL. NSN: 6130-01-090-0248FG P/N: 361-10190 Noun: Power Supply Item Description: This aircraft part is designed to convert nominal 118/205 volt, 400 hertz, three phase electrical power to nominal 30 volts regulated, direct current, and to nominal 40 volts, direct current. Applicable to: B52 Destination: FB2039 Delivery: Monthly schedule beginning 30 days after receipt of repairables Best Estimated Qty: YEAR ONE 5, YEAR TWO 20, YEAR THREE 13, YEAR FOUR 1, YEAR FIVE 7 CONTRACT MAXIMUM: 18 The proposed contract is not 100% set aside for small business concerns. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to all line items. THE FOLLOWING DATES ARE APPROXIMATE. CONTRACTORS SHALL REFER TO THE ACTUAL SOLICITATION FOR THE EXACT CLOSING DATE. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 16 Aug 2005. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 16 Sep 2005. The anticipated award date will be 30 Sep 2005. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Contractors must be registered in ORCA prior to award. Contractors may access ORCA at http://www.orca.bpn.gov . No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
