Description

CASCADING REQUIREMENTS FOR SMALL BUSINESS This solicitation will be awarded to a small business concern selected using cascading procurement procedures. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 19.8, any award resulting from this solicitation, will be made on a competitive basis to eligible 8(a) business concerns, provided that a minimum of two (2) competitive bids are received from eligible Section 8(a) concerns. If a minimum of two (2) bids from eligible Section 8(a) concerns are not received, the award will be made to a Hubzone business in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.12, provided that a minimum of two competitive bids are received from qualified Hubzone concerns. If a minimum of two (2) bids from qualified HubZone business are not received, the award will be made to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.14 provided that a minimum of two competitive bids are received from qualified SDVOSB?s. If a minimum of two bids from eligible SDVOSB?s are not received, award will be made to eligible small business concern offering the lowest price in accordance with FAR Part 19. Any award considered must be responsive, responsible and determined fair and reasonable. The response date has been changed to September 2,2005 10:00AM US/Eastern
