- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to The American Journal of Health Promotion, Inc (AJHP) to support the research services to produce a special issue of High Level Peer Review Journal on "Transportation Infrastructure, The Build Environment and Obesity: An Emerging and Complex National Issue". As part of this publication, FHWA will better understand the fundamental science and relationships between human behavior, transportation, fundamental biological processes, the theoretical basis and actual human impacts related to obesity and the built environment. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about August 18, 2005
