Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with West Virginia University Research Corporation, Morgantown, West Virginia, to perform a professional service contract. West Virginia University?s very highly qualified dermatologists and immunologists will be utilized to conduct the protocol. This work will be an extention of our previous collaboration with the Pediatrics Department and will allow us to compare our data with the pediatric data collected previously at this Department with the techniques that are described in this protocol. Also, its proximity to NIOSH will allow NIOSH investigators to be directly involved in the related measurements and experimental trials. This announcement is being issued for informational purposes only; requests for quotations are not available. Organizations that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the post date of this notice. Interested parties shall provide documentation which demonstrates they have the capabilities and expertise necessary to meet the requirements. Responses shall be submitted to Kimberly Groves at the address indicated. Please reference # 2005-Q-02283. A determination not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If the agency determines it is appropriate to compete this requirement, a RFQ will be issued solely to the responders of this notice. A subsequent presolicitation notice will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a response, which shall be considered by the Agency.
