- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FAR Subpart 13.5 will be used. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure the following items on a sole source basis from Real Time Innovations, Inc, 3975 ! Freedom Circle, Santa Clara, CA 95054: (Item 0001) 1 Network Data Distribution System (NDDS) 5 user development package, Windows Visual C++ 6.0 platform; (Item 0002) 1 NDDS 5 user package, support and maintenance; (Item 0003) 3 additional user licenses; (Item 0004) 3 additional developer licenses, support and maintenance; (Item 0005) 1 additional host platform, Linux RedHat 9.0, gcc 3.2; (Item 0006) 1 additional host platform license, Linux RedHat, annual support and maintenance (Item 0007) 1 additional target architecture platform license, LynxOS 4.0, gcc 2.95.3, PPC 74xx; (Item 0008) 1 additional target architecture platform license, LynxOS, annual support and maintenance; (Item 0009) 1 additional target architecture platform license, LynxOS 4.0, gcc 3.2.2, PPC 74xx; (Item 0010) 1 additional target architecture platform license, LynxOS, annual support and maintenance; (Item 0011) 1 additional host platform license, LynxOS 4.0, gcc 2.95.3, i86; (Item 0012) 1 additional hostplatform license, LynxOS, annual support and maintenance; (Item 0013) 50 NDDS run-time licenses; and (Item 0014) 16 NDDS run-time licenses, for internal use only. Only NDDS software satisfies the Government?s requirements. Real Time Innovations (RTI) is the OEM of the products required. RTI is the only known company that produces and supports NDDS software and maintenance. This acquisition will occur via a Firm Fixed-Price contract. All items shall be delivered and accepted FOB Destination to the Receiving Officer, Bldg. 125, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays. No deliveries will be accepted on Federal holidays. Delivery is required no later than 10 days after contract award. This solicitation number is N00178-05-R-2020. It is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05(27 July 2005), and DFARS Change Notice 20050726. The NAICS Code associated with this procurement is 511210. Disclosure of Ownership or Control by the Government of a Terrorist Country apply to this acquisition. The closing date for receipt of quotes is 2:00 PM EST, 8 August 2005.
