Description

Provide all materials, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to manufacture and deliver an accurate fully functioning reproduction of a U. S. Model 1841 6 pound gun and U. S. Model 1841 Number 1 Field Carriage. The carriage must be capable of supporting a gun weighing approximately 850 pounds and be able to withstand the recoil from firing projectiles with full service charges and repeated use. This project is set aside for small business. The NACIS code is 332995. The opening date for this solictation is 8/16/2005. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about 8/16/2005 at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All quotes are to be submitted electronically by 9/16/2005 midnight on 9/16/2005. No hard copies will be provided. In order to quote a vendor must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration website www.ccr.gov. Multiple awards made be made if necessary to obtain both the cannon and the carriage. All responsible sources are sought.
