- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number FA4427-05-Q0040, is issued as a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular DCN 20050726. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 2330. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5084. The North American Industry Classification System is 333924 and the associated business size standard is 750 Employees. This request for quotation consists of the following: Item 0001 Custom Flat deck Trailer. Frame of trailer to be 12' 8" wide 24 feet long. With decking attached it will be 13'-6"W x 24'L; Decking of Planks at 18" Intervals; 35" Deck Height from the Ground; Rocking Front Bolster, Solid Rear Axle 3.5k with spring kit ,no less than 5,000 lb capacity trailer; 11L x 15, 8-Ply Tires; Front Tongue with Pintle Lunette Eye Hitch detachable (auto steering on front knuckle) front axel 90 degree turn radius ; Rear Clevis Hitch; Tie-down "D" Rings, 6 per Side; 5,000 lbs. Capacity; Painted Gray Base Coat.; Item 0002 Freight. The following provisions and or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instruction contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items will be incorporated into any resultant Purchase Order by reference. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condition Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items include clauses (b)(5), (14), (15), (16), (17), (19), and (31).
