- ADDENDUM 52.237-1 EXTENSION OF CLOSING DATE The submission of bids for this project has been changed to Wednesday 17 August 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Please contact Carol Vickers, 850-884-1270, or Linda Adair by fax to 850-884-2041 or by e-mail notification to carol.vickers@hurlburt.af.mil or linda.adair@hurlburt.af.mil NO LATER THAN 11:00 a.m., Wednesday 17 August 2005. The Contractor shall provide all management, personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and equipment and perform all operations necessary for a floor grating system for Control Area #1, #2, #3 and #4. The contractor shall provide all components as required to fully complete the work ready for use by the Government. The grating system shall be capable of supporting a fully loaded forklift.. Deflection shall be limited to 1/240 of the span. Individual size of each section of grating shall be the largest size practical that can be lifted by two persons. The top of the grates shall be smooth with no grooves or other surface treatment that would impair manual moving of the 55-gallon drums. The contractor shall provide a primed and painted steel system, including grates, vertical supports, beams, etc. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 332323 with a size standard of 500 Employees; the SIC code was 3449. The issuance date for the RFQ is projected to be on/about 05 July 2005 with the closing date on or about 22 July 05. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
