Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS Tinker Consolidated AFB A&AS Contract This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for the Tinker Air Force Base Consolidated Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract. The following information is provided to assist the Air Force in conducting a Market Research of Industry to identify potential contractors for this effort. Also, a Request for Information is included within this synopsis, which allows the contractor the opportunity to provide comment for the development of our contract. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC), Plans and Program Directorate (XPR) will award a multiple award contract. The purpose of the contract(s) is to provide Tinker AFB with technical and management expertise to support the acquisition of Air Force aircraft systems, to include airframe, engines, avionics, components, weapon systems integration, and support equipment. The Air Force will acquire A&AS services through multiple indefinite-delivery contracts awarded through an Air Force Source Selection. It is anticipated that the contract(s) will be a 60-month, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with multiple pricing arrangements. The contract(s) will provide a wide range of diverse skills including, but not limited to, acquisition logistics, financial management, cost estimating, schedule analysis, earned value management, contracting support, engineering, configuration/data management, administrative support, security management, acquisition management, test and evaluation, Government Furnished Property (GFP) management, and litigation support required in the capabilities planning/pre-acquisition, acquisition, development, production and sustainment of various equipment and weapon systems (for examples see the attachment titled, A&AS Support Categories). Potential offerors are requested to complete the attached Market Survey and Request for Information. Two copies of each response are requested to be sent to Mary H. Walker at OC-ALC/XPR, 3001 Staff Drive, Ste 1AI79A, Tinker AFB, OK, 73145 or via e-mail at mary.h.walker@tinker.af.mil. Responses are due no later than close of business 22 Aug 05. No phone or FAX requests will be accepted. If you have additional questions, please e-mail them to the above address and a response will be provided at Industry Day. Industry Day is planned for early September. The government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this sources sought synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited herein. Copies of the submitted information will be reproduced and submitted to the OC-ALC/XPR Integrated Process Team (IPT) for review. Results of the review will be used to develop the DRAFT RFP.
