- This is a sole source combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed actions based on responses to this notice is solely within its discretion. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 8541511 (Custom Computer Programming Services). This also serves as a notice of intent for The Centers for Disease Control to negotiate on a sole source basis (Ref. FAR 6.301-2, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements), with Swan Solutions, 4903 Sudleys Choice, Harwood, MD 20776 (small business) on other than a full and open competitive basis. By virtue, Swan Solutions is uniquely qualified and capable of carrying out the requirements of the proposed purchase order. The offeror shall assess the capabilities of currently available Audio-CASI software developed within the National Center for Health Statistics and assist in the development of experimental applications using this software. The work will be carried out in two phases an analysis phase and a planning phase. This procurement?s destination and delivery will be to Acquisition & Assistance Field Branch Hy 3311 Toledo Road, Hyattsville, MD 20782. The contractor shall deliver all deliverables per delivery schedule as listed in the Professional Services Contract. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded.
