- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Weather Service (NWS) is in need of a contractor that can provide janitorial services, (Monday through Friday) for the National Weather Service Office, Central, Illinois (ILX). DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall be responsible for satisfactorily managing and performing programs for cleaning. NWS will provide the vacuum cleaner, paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, trash can liners and garbage bags. All other cleaning supplies will be provided by the contractor. Supplies are to be properly stored in an area designated by the Administrative Support Assistant (ASA). Light bulbs will be furnished by the NWS. Services performed under this contract shall be performed during hours approved by the ASA, Inspection and acceptance of work will be done by the ASA or designated representative. Any business capable of completing this project is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 561720. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is being executed under the Commercial Acquisition Procedures of FAR part 12. The Central Region Acquisitions Division requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
