- Description
- The Flathead National Forest is soliciting quotations for the reclamation of approximately 15 miles on several roads located on the Spotted Bear Ranger District and the Hungry Horse Glacier View Ranger District. Items of work include, but are not limited to, construction of road closure earth berms and waterbars; removal and disposal of culverts; stream restoration, and seeding and fertilizing of worksites. Importation and spreading of riprap is required at some culvert removal sites. Estimated start work date is September 19; completion of work will be not later than August 31, 2006. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about August 10, 2005. A pre-bid tour is scheduled to be held on August 19, 2005. Interested parties are to meet at the Hungry Horse Ranger Station in Hungry Horse, Montana, at 9:00 a.m. Contact Al Sorensen at the Flathead NF Supervisors office, 406-758-5222 for additional information.
