- The Contracts Department of Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego (FISCSD) intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements" AEL CBR -D PERSONNEL PRTCN EQUIP. ID# 2-770004281, 10/25/04, Airboss Engineered Products Inc.881 Landry Street, Action Vale, Canada . The Contractor shall provide CBR Overboots NATO NSN :8430-99-869-0395, 150 Pr. Size Small, NSN :8430-99-869-0396,250 Pr. Size Med. NSN :8430-99-869-0397, 300 Pr. Size Large, NSN :8430-99-869-0398, 300 Pr. Size X-Large, NSN :8430-99-869-0399, 250 Pr. Size XX-Large. For Naval Coastal Warfare Group One. FISCSD intends to award a firm fixed price type contract. This action is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13.5 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items/services under FAR Part 12. This is not a request for quote or an announcement of a fort! hcoming solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Request for copies of a solicitation will not be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
