Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to construct approximately 1712 rods of 3-wire barbed wire, (smooth bottom wire). Work will include: 1)1 ea Mobilization ; 2)1,172 rods Barbed Wire Fence (3 wire); 3) 7 ea Barbed Wire End panels; 4) 23 ea Barbed Stress Panels; 5) 18 ea Three Post Corner; 6) 9 ea Five post Corner; 7) 8 ea Barbed Wire Gate. Work under this contract is located in Custer County, Montana. The contractor will have 69 calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 100% Payment Protection is required for contracts greater than $25,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and must be received within 15 calander days of award. This can be submitted by Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A SITE TOUR HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 17, 2005 at 10:00 Am. Contractors are to meet at the Miles City, MT. BLM Field Office, (Engineering Building) at 111 Garryowen Road, Miles City, MT. 4x4 vehicles are advised. Contractors may bring their lunch. This award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Contractors receiving this award must be registered in Central Contractor Registration(CCR). It is also recommended that contractors complete their annual Representations & Certifications electronically at " http://orca.bpn.gov". THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ELECTRONICALLY AT "http://ideasec.nbc.gov" ON OR ABOUT 8/26/05. Paper copies are not longer available. Vendors are also responsible to check this website for any posted amendments to the solicitation.
