Description
The U.S. Army TACOM-Picatinny at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ has a requirement for the procurement of the M30 Tank Main Gun Simulator and the M31A1 Direct- Indirect Fire Cue Simulator with Stars in accordance with Performance Specification PRF13010446. TACOM-Picatinny intends to satisfy this requirement through a competitve Request for Proposals with award made on a best value basis. It is anticipated that the Government will award a Requirements contract for 3 base years and two one year options. Delivery Orders shall be issued throughout the period of the contract as requirements materialize. Design Verification Testing (DVT), First Article Testing (FAT) and Lot Acceptance Testing samples will be required. The quantity ranges for the M30 are as follows: 1 ??? 50,000; 50,001 ???500,000; 500,001 - 1,000,000; 1,000,001 ??? 3,000,000. The quanity ranges for the M31A1 are as follows: 1 ??? 50,000; 50,001 ??? 500,000; 500,001 ??? 1,000,000. The Government will supply the Main Gun Simulator Launcher and Direct/Indirect Fire Cue Launcher as GFM. Offerors will be required to propose with the Government supplying this GFM. The Design Verification Test (DVT) and final report will be completed 150 days after contract award. The First Article Test (FAT) and final report will be completed 90 calendar days after DVT. The Government intends to place the first Delivery Order for a quantity of both items at the time of award of the basic contract. First delivery for these quantites will be 30 Days after FAT. Final delivery will be within 6 months after FAT if the ordered quantity is less than 50,000 and within 12 months after FAT if the ordered quantity is 50,000 or more. Delivery Schedules for all other orders will be established in each individual Delivery Order. If and when options are exercised, the terms and conditions of the contract will be extended for a period of one year.
