Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912L1-05-T-5052 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) which incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 14, effective as of 06/23/03. This is a total small business set-aside acquisition with an associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519, the Small Business size Standard of 500. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applica ble. Description of requirements for a Mobile Radiation Measurement & Detection System is as follows: Clin0001 Qty 1. Mobile Detection System is a mobile radiation reconnaissance system, designed to operate in a vehicle for use in ground or airspace with data transmission capability via radio modem or GSM cellular devices. A delivery date of 45 days after receipt of order (however if delivery date is different state the date items can be furnished). APPLICABLE PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES: (1)FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror-Commercial Items. (2)FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable to this acquisition. The specific evaluat ion criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of that provision are as follows: Technical, delivery schedule and price. Technical performance and delivery schedule, when combined are significantly more important than cost or price. The government will aw ard a contract to the offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. (3) FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
