- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attachment. This announcement constitutes the Request for Proposal and all solicitation documents are attached herein.. A separate request for proposals will not be issued. The United States Attorney Office, Eastern District of Michigan located in Detroit Michigan has a requirement for Grand Jury and Deposition Reporting Services. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded for a sixty (60) month period. Offerors must have the capability to establish an office within a fifty (50) mile radius from Detroit, Michigan limits by shortest route available. This notice is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 5.2. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. PROPALS ARE BEING REQUESTED. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561492 with size standard of $6M. The solicitation number is DOJ-EOA39-5-0087. See ATTACHMENT for the following additional information: Instructions for completion of solicitation package, Schedule of Commercial Services and Prices, Statement of Work and the following clauses 52.212 1, "Instructions to Offerors Commercial Item", 52.212 3 "Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items", 52.212 4 "Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items" and 52.212 5 "Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. Offers or quotations will be evaluated in accordance with evaluation factors contained in the solicitation "Evaluation and Selection Factor". All questions regarding the RFQ shall be submitted via E-mail to elijah.anderson@usdoj.gov before or by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, August 5, 2005. Quotes are due August 16, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. LATE Quotations will not be accepted.
