- The Federal Correctional Institution, in Fairton, New Jersey, intends to make a single award for the provision of a Nation of Islam minister for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution and the Federal Prison Camp. The contractor will provide expertise of Nation of Islam ceremonies, holidays, and other religious requirements. The contractor will also teach classes on the Nation of Islam belief and lead in Nation of Islam prayer services. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract shall consist of a 12-month base period with four 12 month option periods. The solicitation will be available on or about August 10, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 7, 2005. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 813110 and the applicable small business size standard is $6.0 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
