Description

This project is for the construction of the Kincaid Well House and Tank to include all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies to complete the removal of the existing well house and 50,000 gallon capacity elevated steel tank, and construction of new well house and new 5,000 gallon hydro-pneumatic tank system complete with controls, valves, gauges, piping and other related items as per drawings and specifications. Demolition and removal of the existing water tower is dependent upon pricing submitted by offerors. The contractor will retain salvage rights as a result of removal of the existing well house and water tank. The project is located in the Kincaid Recreation Area of the Calcasieu Ranger District, Kisatchie National Forest, Rapides Parish, Louisiana. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The government?s estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Contractor is to complete the project within 120 calendar days. A 20% bid bond guarantee is required with bid submission, and the successful offeror will be required to furnish a 100% payment and performance bond upon award. The solicitation package will be ready for download on or about August 12, 2005. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed out, and telephone requests are discouraged.
