- This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 37, Service Contracting and award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Social Security Administration, Region IV, intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to redesign HVAC equipment or design additional HVAC equipment for controlling heating/air conditioning to a comfort level, per industry standard. NAICS code: 238220. The size standard is $12 million. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The estimated price range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Request for Quotations (SSA-RFQ-05-1683) will be posted at http://www.fedbizops.gov on or about 8/03/05 with quotations due no later than 8/17/05. Paper copies of the RFQ will not be available, but copies of the drawings will be mailed per your request. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued, with a performance period of 60 days from date of award. Anticipated award date will be on or about 8/22/05.
