Description
NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the following Commercial item: One(1) each of a used, fully operational, fully automated, bench-top, wafer substrate bonder, such as Logitech 1WBS2 Wafer Bonding System, brand name or equal. The system requirements are as follows: 1) Configured for 4' or 6', 2) Power requirements 110V, 3) Fully integrated, digital process controller for process automation, 4) Dry, vacuum pump included, 5) General: The system must be in excellent working condition. It must be clean and free of contaminants including wax, adhesive materials, rust, etc., 6) 4' tooling, i.e. optical flat and centering ring must be included, 7) 6' tooling i.e. optical flat and centering ring (if necessary) must be included, 8) Vacuum gauges to indicate pressure above and below bladder, 9) "Like-New" bladder and vacuum seals, 10) One wafer is required, multi-wafer systems will be considered and, 11) 30 day warranty. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This Procurement is conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13. This requirement is a small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 333295 and 500, respectively. The DO Rating is DO-C9 The anticipated release date of RFQ NNG05116249Q is on or about August 8, 2005 with an anticipated due date of on or about August 31, 2005. All interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation in writing, at the address noted above, via facsimile at 301-286-1745 or by e-mail at Agnes.L.Smith@nasa.gov, by August 15, 2005. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing via email or fax, to Agnes L. Smith not later than August 8, 2005. Telephone questions will not be accepted. No collect calls nor telephone requests will be accepted. Responsibility of verifying receipt of faxed and/or e-mail requests, rests solely with the interested party. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
