- NASA/MSFC plans to issue a RFQ for Power System for Specialized Heating. The government plans to negotiate with Inductoheat, 32251 North Avis Drive, Madison, Heights, Michigan 48071. CLIN 1 - (1 each) STATIPOWER Model SP5 500kW - 1/3kHZ solid state SCR power supply in product bulletin P-16 and arranged for ooperation with 480V, 30, 60Hz electrical service. (The power supply requies a separate heat station.) Brand Name or equal is acceptable. CLIN 2 - (2 each) Special Heat Station enclosure similar to E24-6734M5. Brand Name or equal is acceptable. CLIN 3 - (1 each) Compact design closed loop water recirculating system for supply the cooling water requirements of the above power supply and inductor coil. Unit to feture vertical construction with a stainless steal storage tank, external plate type heat exchanger, close coupled pump and motor, plant water regulation valve, and motor starter. FOB: Destination POP: ARO 12 weeks Ship to Marshall Space Flight Center The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 335999 and 500 or more respectively. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. All interesting party should provide a quote for the CLIN listed above by due date. The quotes will be evaluated by using FAR 15.101-2(b)(3). An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
